Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 Mets = Flets move on.[/quote:369j2kc8]I'm with Vic. I don't feel like wallowing in the details.Interesting that Francisco Rodriguez didn't make the list of Mets to be graded. Strange that Angel Berroa gets remembered and Frankie doesn't.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 Well, it's a message board that at times has nothing going on and '62 made the effort to get people posting.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 Mets = Flets move on.[/quote:2prybecw]Waddaya mean "F"? If it was so bad, wouldn't the GM have gotten fired? Wouldn't the manager have gotten fired? All they needed to do was to a) get rid of the bench coach; get rid of the 1B coach; c) reassign the 3B coach; and (here's the key), d) tell the manager and GM to "step up or else!"

Met Hunter Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 Most of you are being too kind to Emil Brown. Didn't he overrun someone on the basepaths in his 3 minutes as a Met? A big F.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 I was at that game in Washington. Since I was there, I didn't have the benefit of a replay, but I seem to recall that incident being the fault of the lead runner, who either stopped or retreated when he shouldn't have.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 I was there, too (we should have met somewhere BG). It was Castillo (of course) who stopped because he wasn't sure if the ball was trapped.
