HahnSolo Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 DAvid, if you're going to kill me, just do it already, don't prolong it.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Nice game, Wright. Deserves a hard punch in the neck.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 If Heilman can actually get Rollins here, I will start to believe we actually have a shot at winning this damn game.
HahnSolo Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 I'm sensing a walk to Rollins.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 (edited) ]Doc, honestly, you don't want to watchAnd he especially didn't want to watch Wright snagging the grounder but then losing his balance so he couldn't get an out.Bases loaded, two outs, Rollins up. Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Hey, I'm Pedro Astacio. I broke the single season wins record in a video game when I was about 14. Broke DiMaggio's streak with Ty Wigginton, too.Make believe is awesome.
Guest AG/DC Guests Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Let me check... yeah, I've got to change again.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 heilman gets through it but he's probably thrown 50 pitches in 2 innings here, and schoenweis is the only one left out there. this has been my only complaint about Manuel so far, he uses the relievers for a batter or two at a time which can leave him short-handed in extras.
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 2 runs in 6 innings for the pen today.

Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 This game feels like 2007, condensed. Hot start, cracks showing, creeping sense of dread, free fall. We'll probably score a few runs in the top of this inning (Maine's game) and piss it all away in the bottom of the frame (Glavine).
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 I dunno, I see a lot of empty seats on the field level.

We just went 11-4.Just this game, I mean.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 We get out of it.Eyecurumba.I know I'm wrong in saying that only Met fans get treated to such "exciting" games, but it sure feels that way, over all the years. And if we win this one it'll be one a those "great" games. But if we lose this one.... if we lose this...We can't.We simply cannot lose this game.Hey, good time to swing at shit Beltran.
