HahnSolo Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Good God our offense is lost.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Yea we had alot of opportunities to score more,......but we did score 7 and it was 7-0 and make of that what you will.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Seven runs in that park against that team is not enough.

Except that we're 6 2/3 innings since they last scored. That's too long, in this park, against this flotsam.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Elster - "I'll go with Nymr. 7 runs should be enough."Not with our pen. Santana and Pelfrey have the right idea lately, pitch as long as you can give the pen as few chances as possible to screw things up.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Oh jeezus. I'm going to go violate Molly Beers 8 ways till Sunday.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 I don't blame him for taking that chance though. Not with two outs.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 No ,and it was a great play from Werth.
Guest AG/DC Guests Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Ah, the old "maybe if I slide like a spazz, he'll laugh too hard to make the tag" play.
Guest KC Guests Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 That really was a great put out by Werth.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 This has been one of the most miserable game watching experiences I can remember. It feels like 2007.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Keith's not complaining about the long game tonight because he doesn't have to drive home.

It feels like 2007.I think we've already surpassed '07 in the volume of butt-reaming humiliating defeats. Last year we saved most of those for the end, this year it seems like every other loss is a complete mallet to the crotch. Edited August 26, 2008 by Guest
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Gameday has completely shorted out on my computer. It's posting total nonsense that does not at all correspond with the IGT comments. I'm as lost as the Mets hitters right now.

Guest AG/DC Guests Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Jammed some fingers on that hook slide. You'll see him shaking his right hand between pitches.
HahnSolo Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 That 1-2 pitch to Bruntlett lookeed awfully good

Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Some of those to Werth looked good too. Ump wants to go home.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 My God Aaron it's a fucking pitcher
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Can you imagine the damage Bruntlett would do if he was like a good hitter or something?
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Switched to ESPN GameCast. At least it's working. Gameday had Heilman intentionally walking Victorino to open the 11th inning. Of course, the Mets were hitting at the time. Next year I'm paying MLB for the video feeds. If I'm going to sit and stare at my computer screen this much, I might as well be able to actually see what is happening,Who the hell does Bruntlett think he is, David Newhan?
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Doc, honestly, you don't want to watch.
