Spellcheck

Does it bother anyone that on this forum, Mets gets flagged by the spellchecker, and Yankees does not?

The only excuse I can see for that is that Yankee has other meanings, while Mets really doesn't.

When I type "Yankee" it autocorrects to "Asshole".

I didn't even know the forum had a spell checker.

I use the checker that defaults in Firefox. (Anything I misspell ends up getting underlined and I can fix it by right-clicking on the word.)

I think Mole means if we on the forum are bothered by Firefox spell checking Mets and not Yankees , not that the forum has a checker.

I don't get Firefox errors for "Mets." (Maybe I added it to my dictionary? I don't remember.)

I know it doesn't like "Sox."

Interesting , after reading this I installed the US-English dictionary add on and now Mets does not get spell checked.

It clearly shows that the Mets are unique. It can mean nothing else.
