If he dudn't get his head in the game, the ghost of Gil Hodges is going to go out there and lift him from the game.

]Marlon's due for something good to happen today.

Perhaps he'll get a new job, as a scout or something.

Speed kills too?

I don't think Castro should have thrown with the jump Phillips had.
That was a huge jump.

One of these days the Mets are going to do something horrible and blow a game and I'm going to be really sour, and then it's going to cut to that goddamned Derek Jeter Ford commercial and and aahhh

Urge to kill...rising...

I'd hate to be a fan of a team w/the GM that traded him. Oh, wait.

i wish people would get off that BS already, omar was managing a team that had been taken over by mlb and was in danger of imminent contraction, he tried to trade guys who would never have played in Montreal anyway to help win then.

Pelfrey leads off the 6th, I feel like willie would have pinch-hit here with Pelfrey having gone 5 and allowed 4

I'm well aware of that, Nymr83--just trying to be funny. Omar was in a desperate situation at that time.

An upper deck job.
Wonder how far he could have hit that hanger if he wasn't so low on energy...

Excellent baseball!

Wright walks, steals second, Delgado rips a line single and drives him in to tie it.

Awww, Jose.

Ok, stay calm, don't start throwing stuff.
Superstars make errors too.

Turning a double play on the next batter helps. Whew.

And Jose makes up for his boo-boo with a fine play to start the DP.
Nice.

Nice inning by Sanchez.

Phils threatening in the 11th, 2 on, 2 out.
Wild pitch!.....2nd and 3rd, 2 out.

And Gary, its a horrible play if you don't make it....damn.
Beltran thrown out trying to steal 3rd.

And Castro follows with a single.
Cripes.

Ok guys, plate one here.

Stealing third just ain't worth it most times if ya get caught under almost
all scenarios. It's nice it the guy scores on a sac-fly, but seems like most
times it's an inning killer if ya get caught.

Marlins with bases loaded in their home 11th and no outs!

ugh.

Nice play by Votto ends that threat.

Marlins have the bases loaded, no out, in the 11th.
