NO!
BAD CALL!
They reverse the ground rule double by Howard!

They had it right the 1st time!

And our Manual gets tossed!

This is totally bogus! A Phillies fan shouldn't be allowed to interfere with a ball that Endy could have caught and then have it called a homer!

tmf: this is officially a rout<<<

Very out of character ... nothing is safe in that hell-forsaken bandbox.

Yes, and it reinforces why I shouldn't assume stuff like that.

Right before the strikeout, Gary announced that they wouldn't be taking phone calls after all. Ron confirmed, "No - it's a close game again."

Heilman comes on and Ks Burrell, who I hat.
VOTE MR. WRIGHT NOW!

Swindle stays on.
Lets get some more runs.

One other thing, how could a ball 15-20 feet over his head
be caught by Endy?

Some kid behind the plate is doing the "Angels in the Outfield" wing flap. I can't, for the life of me, imagine why.

If they can rewrite history to call that a homer, I can rewrite it just as accurately to say that it was on its way down and into Endy's glove.

Both scenarios are equally plausible.

Do not doubt anything Chavez can do with a glove.
He could jump 30 feet and catch it on the way down.

Swindle's fastball is so slow that most of the time Gameday still labels it a changeup. Either that or his fastball really is 82-84 mph and his change up is either 81-83 mph or 74-75 mph. Whatever it is he's throwing, the Mets suddenly can't hit it.

Ridiculous.

We need six outs.

Less ridiculous than that call reversal and ejecting Jerry to boot.

Just ask Scott Rolen!

Looooooooooooong at bat by Dobbs. Heilman gets the K, though.

Camera switches to Santana sitting in the dugout as the ball is hit into play. Whoops!

Great battle between Dobbs and Heilman, but Heilman finally gets the K for the first out of the inning.

4 to go.

10 - 7, need four outs. Jenkins 2 run bomb.

Jenkins homers to cut the lead to 10-7.

Which probably means we get Wagner next inning.

Gary: Jenkins is two for his last forty. TWO for FORTY!

The home run was a foregone conclusion, no?

Suddenly, this game isn't such a laugher.

Suddenly, pulling Utley looks not so good.
