Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 Reyes leads off with a double...Castillo trustily groundouts him over to third...
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 Belty doubles 'em both in...Both being Reyes & Wright who was hbp
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 And Delgado drives in Beltran.
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 Ooh, there's a game on and we totally have a 3-run lead in the first.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 Soupcan doesn't know what he's missing....go Mets.
Guest Mendoza Line Guests Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 Any word on why Church isn't starting? Is the concussion wooziness back?

Guest Vince Coleman Firecracker Guests Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 This game snuck up on me. Go go gadget gamecast!
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 Ginats get one back on an error (Reyes), a wild pitch and a single.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2008 Author Posted June 4, 2008 A Reyes error (would have ended the inning) and a coupla singles leads to a run
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 REYES:IT'S OUTTA HERE!Mets 5, Giants 1
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 I like the way Jose atones for his mistakes.
Guest holychicken Guests Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 Yeah, I was going to slap him across his face, now I think I will just pinch his cheeks a bit.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 I kept checking the score periodically at work. Then I rushed home from the office, as soon as possible, so I could follow along more consistently. I enjoyed seeing the three spot they posted in the first inning when I checked in during the bottom of the second. Even better to see that they have added to their lead while I was finishing up with patients.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 Come out of a meeting and see the Mets winning. Good Mets. Good Mets.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 The Giants send some fresh meat to the mound. Let's hammer this Yahoo.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 Gamecast says Delgado's double left the yard.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 I knew Delgado was pretty slow, but that's ridiculous.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 Hey you guys that are watching the game, no need to explain or anything.Just leave us working schmucks in the dark.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 Lead down to two and only doctors and lawyers left in the IGT.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 Mets have a threat brewing. Well, so much for that rally. Reyes and Castillo on the corners with one out and Wright grounds into a double play.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 Aurelia singles against Wagner with one out to bring the tying run to the plate in the person of Jose Castillo.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 Two down with Aurelia holding at first. Winn at the dish for the Giants.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 It was nice to spend some quality alone time with you Doc.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 I just wanna say, if Schneider wants more PT vs. lefties, he's gonna hafta start driving in a few runs vs. righties, particularly against back-of-the-pen journeymen working their second inning of relief.I mean, the whole team did a poor job offensively in the late innings, and maybe Schneid doesn't deserve it any worse than his mates but he's completely teh suck lately.
Zach Thornton Syracuse Mets - AAA LHP On Sunday, the southpaw tossed five shutout innings as the bulk pitcher. He gave up 2 hits, walked 2 and had 5 strikeouts. Explore Zach Thornton News >
