nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 Santana hits the hardest Met ball of the last 3 games with a big double, his 3rd of the year.

That was the last Met RBI that left the infield.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 Ray "Burger" King not getting it done for the Nats.Nice to see an honest to God rally. I missed the Friday and Saturday games while traveling so I feel like it's been an eternity since I've seen them string a bunch of runs together.

This kinda game is good to win, at least, and the stolen bases are really helping. But give me a few doubles.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 Extra-base hits for the season:Delgado = 4Santana = 3
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 So tonight the Yanx & CHiSox are the ESPN game and yet that's being blacked out in the NYC area - whereas the Met-Cubs game on Monday was broadcast on both. Not sure why the difference.

We don't normally get that as a HD channel but it looks great in that format.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 I'd love to see the Mets open it up here. Marlon up, 1st and 3rd, 2 out.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 Dang. Popup.Duaner's getting the ball.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 Ugh. Only April 23 and I'm totally tired of stupid Giuseppe and his hair restoral product. Maybe someone at SNY can sell some ad time to someone else.

The rights for Monday night must differ from the Wednesday package. It can't be the teams since it's the teams playing are from same cities playing IN the same city.

The 38-year-old was contemplating retirement if the injury needed surgery.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 If Jesus Colome doesn't work out the Nationals are going to try one from Column B instead.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 Good ABs by Wright and Beltran. Make these RPs work and eventually they are likely to make a mistake.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 Churchy with the rocket shot two run double. 7-2 Mets.A little more breathing room.
