I usually turn on the TV at 10 after the hour so as to miss the pre-game crap and sometimes I forget that we're on the road where they start at :05 and I miss the 1st inning.
Fortunately I didn't do that today.

A bookend offense for the Mets. The emergence of Sosa shakes up an already volatile bullpen. Comments have been made about uncertainty in the roles--I wonder if OM will be bringing in a new arm or two. Let's hope that the roles are solidified as the end of the regular season, and hopefully the post-season, comes into view.

For me, more of a "phew" than a "yea" but a win's a win. I just hope that the Pirates don't have confidence after scoring late. Let's hope that Carlos D. is OK. Go get 'em Brian Lawrence.
