G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Prince Fielder is bound and determined to kill us.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Wow, I don't think I've ever seen one in the Upper Deck in Miller Park. Not even during the HR derby in 2002.
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 That's a scary fucking way to get two strikes.

G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Weeks vs. Sele in the regular-season series of love.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 I think this Prince's bat weighs almost as much as that Prince.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 I started watching this game in July.It's August.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 We've got Bush.(Sorry. Couldn't resist.)
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Looks like there will be no starters for tomorrow (err...later tonight's) game.

G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Did I hear Gary mention Gotay is "slightly injured"?
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 That was Alou's second SB of 2007. And, I'm guessing, the eighth of his career.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 That was in reference to LoDuca, not Gotay.Gotay was set to hit earlier but was pulled back for Newhan.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Schoeneweis is warming. The Brewers are brimming with overconfidence.

G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 I don't suppose Bernie Brewer had the decency to tumble hundreds of feet from his slide.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 A war of attrition. It's a shame somebody had to lose.(Somebody = the Mets)
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 What a crappy ending! I was an hour late getting into the park due to construction traffic, so I stayed for the extra frames. This was the second Brewers/Mets game I've seen over the past 2 years with a walkoff Brewers HR.
DocTee Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 Had you arrived on time, would you have left the game early?

It's a shame somebody had to lose.(Somebody = the Mets)Only partially true, though, a real War of Attrition would have meant that we were down to Sele because we had already gotten two innings from Wagner. I'm definitely not about holding the closer out of these extra inning ties on the road.
