metirish Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 I doubt there are any teams in the whole of MLB playing worse than the Mets right now.

Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 Rangers have their rookie manager babbling out of both sides of his mouth at a press gathering.Baltimore is falling apart, on the brink of getting swept at home by the Nationals. And Hope's name there is Steve Trachsel.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 OK,so we've not hit rock bottom ,that's good, that speaking what's on his mind sure isn't doing much for Ron Washington.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 The Mets are 2-10 in June. In half of those twelve games, they have scored two runs or less. They have scored three runs or less in 8 games. The Mets have led in each of their last 8 losses.
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 Opponents are also scoring an average of 5.41 runs per game in that same stretch.

TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 June's over and could have been much worse considering the Mets dropped 14 of their first 18 games before battling back to win 8 of 9 to finish 12-15 for the month. They started the month with a 4.5 game lead on the Braves and ended up only losing a half a game in the standings and maintaining a five game lead in the loss column. At any rate, I'm glad to see the calendar page flip.
