Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted June 3, 2007 Posted June 3, 2007 Sorry this game is too good not to have a thread.
Batty31 Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2007 Posted June 3, 2007 I haven't been watching since I didn't want to "jinx" the Sox. Tied up now 4-4 bottom of the 5th. Runner at 3rd with one out and Manny just got the intentional pass..
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2007 Posted June 3, 2007 Abreu is brutal...loving this game.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2007 Posted June 3, 2007 Typical NYY/BOS game so far:- Beckett not at his best- Yanx scratch out a few runs- Sox chip back- Torre pulls Pettitte ar the first sign of trouble- Abreu mis-plays a ball- The bullpen only makes things worse- and it's already 2+ hours long and they're only in the 5th inning
Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted June 3, 2007 Posted June 3, 2007 Sox fans really anxious to find this Roger fellow.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2007 Posted June 3, 2007 Well, they've already found Waldo so they're moving on to other targets.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2007 Posted June 3, 2007 This game may end sometime tonight ... but I wouldn't count on it.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted June 3, 2007 Posted June 3, 2007 5-5 going to the bottom of the 8th. Okajima/MFYs left Cano on 3rd after a 0-out RBI triple to tie it.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted June 3, 2007 Posted June 3, 2007 Would ya look at that? Abreu caught a ball. Clutchy McClutch leads off the visitors 9th.
metsmarathon Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2007 Posted June 3, 2007 and yet again, alex rodriguez fails to perform in a big spot, unlike that derek jeter fellow.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted June 3, 2007 Posted June 3, 2007 Well, meat of the order vs. Rivera.
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2007 Posted June 3, 2007 Another one that will be talked about by obnoxious Yankees fans as they celebrate winning their 27th ring.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 I thought Papi's ball in the 9th was gone. Oh well. 12.5 back is still not bad.
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 The Yankees have had momentum since beating the Mets in the Subway Series finale, including going 4-2 against the Red Sox. I expect they will be 3-4 games back by the end of June.
