--just for one game in this series, I'm hoping the Mets are leading in a game and bring in Joe Smith, who surrenders a dramatic GW HR to either Chipper or Andruw, just so I can post in the game memories section of UMDB "The Mets suck! They need to trade Smith and get somebody like Jones!" and Yancy can't throw the comment off the UMDB site.

that i don't mind, its trading an every day player for a reliever (LaRoche for Gonzalez) that i don't like. I wouldn't have liked the Nady deal if it didn't include Perez.
