Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 Lo Duca is batting fifth, with Easley in the two-hole.Reyes is 2-2 with a homer and a base stolen. He's batting .400.Vargas throws one inning and gets pulled. He got Barfield, Michaels (two righthanded batters) and Havner in order.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 Vargas started today in place of El Ducky who they had throw in a simulated game today instead (no word if he suffered any simulated injuries).Officially the reason was so he could avoid the lengthy bus ride - which probably cost the team money when you consider that he likely qualifies for the transit company's senior citizen rate
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 My "gameday" tells me Vargas is still in there in the 3rd, having surrendered a solo homer but not much else.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 Yeah, MLB corrected that. They initially had "Murphy" going in.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 Boogers with 2 IP, 3 Ks, 0 runs.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 Scoreless inning by Humber. Lowers the old ERA to 18.00.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 Freakin' Lino has to make it interesting.
