Green doing everything he can to mock Eckstein's size, short of holding his mitt over his head and making him jump for it.

Say what you will about Alou and Green being a coupla loads in left and right, but brothers are taking the extra base tonight.

Would've liked to see Wright at the plate now, but hey, I'm open to LoDuca proving me wrong.

Morgan: "The pitching is in disarray."

No, last year when Jose Lima was in the rotation, that was disarray. This is just fine.

Joe must be assuming that Carpenter would have ever been interested in fielding that liner up the middle.

Mets lead, 5-0 in the middle of the 4rth.

To be fair, many media wankers would have taken the pre season 2006 Traschel and Zambrano over the 2007 pre season Maine and Perez.

Hey, hey, Trachsel had like 15 wins last season. He has to be good.

Glaviine looking sharp tonight. The Cards haven't hit many balls with authority tonight.

Fun Fact: Tom Glavine was drafted before Brett Hull in the 1984 NHL Entry Draft.

Very.
Nice to see Glav perfectly executing that inside waste pitch and then painting that outside corner.
He is lookin fiiiine.

All things considered, I think Glavine made a good call in choosing baseball over hockey.

Having been a hockey player, Glavine could come in handy when brawls break out on the field.

Moises Alou flashes a little leather to take a hit away from Kennedy.
