stevejrogers Old-Timey Member Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 Another tradition from past years is the posting of celebratory images once the Mets win, Yankees lose and Braves lose in the same day. With the Braves fall from their division winning perch a year ago, and the Phillies finishing in second in the division mean that the Phillies are the third wheel in the Troika?Or will the Braves have a bounce back year meaning their continued troubles should be recorded?Or has coming this close to winning the NL Championship against a former NL East rival mean the Cardinals get added?Or should we do like the song says, lets call the whole thing off.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 I predict plenty of hatred for the Braves this season.....
Guest KC Guests Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 I took number four, but whatever drives anyone to a triple happiness post I'msure is fine with just about everyone and doesn't require a vote of approval.
Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 I'm with staying the course.
dinosaur jesus Old-Timey Member Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 Keep up the Braves hatred. As long as they're still doing the chop, as long as Larry Jones is still with them, as long as Cox is still the manager. If they lose 100 games, I'm going to enjoy every one.
Guest KC Guests Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 9 votes to lose Triple Happiness? What a bunch of mid-Feb sour-pusses.
Guest Yancy Street Gang Guests Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 I voted to lose it, but I really don't care since I never participated. (Never been a Braves hater.)But really, if even two people want to continue the tradition, then it should continue.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 Exactly. These polls are retarded, and so is the notion of being obligated to participate in anything.
metsmarathon Old-Timey Member Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 i just vote no in all of steve's polls...

Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 I seldom exercise my right to vote in these polls. Concerning the continuation of CPF traditions, I agree that they will live on if enough people value them or they will die out on their own if too few people do.
