Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 David Wright hits the links in what don't look like golf shoes.Rusty Staub shows him how it's done.I was thinking the cover boy looked a little too much like he'd been following the Staub diet, then quickly realized that's not him in the second shot.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 That was my first thought on seeing the second picture,I had to look a few times to make sure it wasn't Wright.Pedr after working out Tuesday....
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 David Wright checks in after a day of doing "some of the things off the field that are privileges you get to do in New York," including extortion, crack, and cutting the heads off of cats.Paul Lo Duca looks for a shirt to hide his winter weight.Pedro has manboobs. Why not Aaron? That's one out-of-shape Fighting Irish in those black sox, unable to keep up with the Ancient Cuban.

Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 Could those hats suck any more?
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 No,they are horrible...from what I see so far the O's and yanks have that ear thing...I suoppose all teams have them..
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 I wonder what Selig and the brain trust of mlb is thinking at times. MLB might as well make the look complete by adding insulated ear flaps and a chin strap to the hats. Johnny sports the Boston Red Sox uniform for 2008.

stevejrogers Old-Timey Member Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 Maybe its just that I never really paid much attention to the first weeks of ST like I'm doing now seeing images on the boards, but is it me or has there been more variety in terms of team gear the last few years?Already in this thread we have 1 hooded sweatshirt, 1 of those hiddeous body armour long sleeve ts, 1 black t, 1 black cut-off t, 1 white T which looks like it may be a personalized one for #16 Paul Lo Duca 1 windbreaker, 2 different shortsAt least Aaron and El Duque don't have any logos on their shirts in that running pic, Wright's locker appears to be filled with the standard issue ST unisI'm not quite sure what it says, and frankly not sure if I really should be caring, but its just an observation that seems like there is alot more different variations of the products being used these days than I can recall.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 Duaner, my god, what did you do to your hair? Are we really sure that's not Heilman? I'm curious as to what makes people think it's Pelfrey.
