Guest SwitchHitter Guests Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 I was looking at SteveJRogers' list of WS game winners and saw Waite Hoyt. I then wondered if there'd ever been another player named "Waite". And then I thought of the alphabetical threads in the non-baseball area. So I wonder if we could compile a list of guys who have unique first names in baseball. No Nomar as that's his middle name. I also discovered Chico Salmon, who's name is Rutherford Eduardo Salmon when I wanted to pull up Ruth. Cy Young is the only Denton. Moises Alou is the only Moises. Anyone think of anyone else?

Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 I'm guessing there's also only one Lynn.

Valadius Old-Timey Member Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 There's only been one Quilvio.
