Nice week's worth of offense in the first.

I'd like another week in the second.

i dunno that i buy that obliterating the catcher is all that safe either, seems like a collision of any kind is bad news for a guy reyes' size.

Duque risks himself with a play. Reyes with a slide.

You hate the risks, but it's good to see them reminding themselves how to play playoff ball.

4-0.

although i guess i can accept that if you hit the catcher in the upper body you wont get the armored knee to the chest that reyes keeps getting.

I wonder how aware Jose is that he's two steals away from a club record, and if he is, how much he cares?

Yeah, I don't get testing the arm of Jones on a play like that and Reyes
really needs to learn how to protect himself and go agressively into home
plate instead of sliding through brick walls.

Amen, brother. Yet another reason I wouldn't have sent him.

He's so fast he hasn't learned how to slide yet.

I'm sure he's very aware and judging by the 7 steals in the last 5 or 6 games, I think he cares plenty.

No, me neither. He's our guy.

Who woulda thunk it?

I might even start calling him El Duque, don't tell anyone.

The fourth ball was called when the pitcher blew on his hand.

Pat Coralles taking over for Bobby Cox. He first managed in 1978.

If the Braves come back and win, it'd be his first victory since 1987.

El Duque shames the rookie with the sloe stuff to end the 3rd.

Oh we're the boys of the chorus we hope you like our show
We know you're rooting for us but now we have to go

What's up doc, what's cooking
What's up doc, are you looking
For Bugs Bunny's bunting doc has gone a-hunting
Just to get a rabbit's skin but now that rabbit's gone again
What's up doc, what's cooking

He'll always be Orlando Hernandez to me.

Delgado doubles home another run.

Finally a game for which it will be easy to give out some Schaefer.

El Duque just pasted dat pat'etic palookah wit' his paralyzing, perplexing, perfect, pachydermus percussion pitch.
