seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2006 Posted July 20, 2006 Actually, I take that back in case I just jinxed him.
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2006 Posted July 20, 2006 Whoa. What just happened there? Lots of yelling going on on the FAN about that CS.Whatshisname sounds exactly like Gary. I think.

Valentin had to pick it on the shorthop and then quickly slap the tag down on the other side of the bag, which he did beautifully. It was a bang-bang play as the baseball announcers say and even Keith thought he might've been in there. Great play by Valentin either way.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 20, 2006 Posted July 20, 2006 Double on a popup to the secondbaseman? That's crazy talk.
Guest Yancy Street Gang Guests Posted July 20, 2006 Posted July 20, 2006 Endy follows Nady's double with one of his own. Mets are up 3-2.
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2006 Posted July 20, 2006 Edgy DC wrote:Double on a popup to the secondbaseman? That's crazy talk.Pop-up into shallow right field. Phillips pulled up as Chris "Criminal Intent" Denorfia called him off. Denorfia beat wasn't as good as he thought it was and he dove and came up short. Nady wasn't trucking it all that hard around first, but even if he was, it would've been real tough to end up at third.
Guest Yancy Street Gang Guests Posted July 20, 2006 Posted July 20, 2006 Mercker comes in to face Beltran.Let's get a few more runs here so Wagner doesn't frighten us too much.
