metirish Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 Lets go Mets, Lo Duca on with a single and a ground double from Beltran sends Paul to 3rd.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 Keith thinks Harang is tipping some of his pitches.......
Guest Yancy Street Gang Guests Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 Delgado strikes out with runners on second and third (what's wrong with him lately?) but Wright bails him out with a two-run double.

Guest Iubitul Guests Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 The longer he slumps, the more pain for the team that faces him when he comes out of it.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 Damn that Reyes is good, he plates two for a four zip lead...
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 I could be spacing big-time, but was Traxxxx's pickoff of Freel in the first the first Met pickoff of the year?I can't recall any others, but I might be spacing as I said.Keppinger traded, sez Howie.Reyes knocks in 2 more on a bloopy single.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 Willie talked a bit about Delgado's slump on M&MD (well, just "M") today. I guess Delgado "knows what he's doing wrong," but he's just having a hard time putting the pieces together. Which means iubitul is right.

Guest Iubitul Guests Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 Beltran juuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuust missed that one...Reyes goes to third - LoDuca still on first...

metirish Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 Delgado whiffs again, maybe a few nights off might help.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 Delgado wiffs---meh--he can start his tear next time up.

Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 Crap - it rains for 30 seconds and they start putting the tarp on the field. The Mets have a 4-0 lead in the second - we're waiting all night to finish this one if we have to!

Guest Yancy Street Gang Guests Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 Why does it always seem to rain when Trachsel pitches? After he retires he can make a living barnstorming through drought areas.
Guest Iubitul Guests Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 The rain has stopped, but there is a lot of water on the field. No start time yet, but it looks like the game will resume...

dinosaur jesus Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 I'm watching the game in Ohio. The rain is pooled up on the warning track, and they're digging up the mud with shovels and a backhoe. It seems never to have occurred to the builders of the Great American Ballpark that some sort of drainage system ought to be in place. It certainly looks like they'll be playing, but we could have some slippery fun on balls hit to the wall.
Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 As they're working on the field, Gary Cohen observes that it isn't raining anywhere else in the country other than in Cincinnati.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 Jeezus. I barely recalled Ken Caminiti finished with the Braves that year. Just made a nice play to end the 4th. He'd start the steroid whistleblowing and be dead in three years.
Guest Iubitul Guests Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 OMG - we miss Liza, and we miss MIke's home run....
