I think I may have reversed Nady & Castro if for no other reason than to keep Ramon from clogging up the bases in front of Jose if they both get on.

(am no longer Vince Coleman)

I would have given Marrero a shot behind the dish.
They're going to have to see what he can do there at some point before they have to make a cut down decision when Cliff returns.
If Eli can do the job there (and their's no reason to think he still can't) then I would send Castro down. It seems last year's magic is gone.

Castro is better than Marerro right now, not to mention sending him down essentially leaves you without a second catcher while PLo heals. If last year's magic is gone, how come he's OPSing at viortually the same rate?

751 to 756?

Reyes apparently thinks he's a HR hitter now too.

when did LoDuca become "PLo"? I know he sucks sometimes but I don't thinks he needs to be associated with terrorists.

Darling says "Towers doesnt have any one pitch to get Delgado out", but somehow he has three that strike him out.

Mets up, 1-0

that must be considered the extremely condensed version of the event.

It followed a 2 base throwing error by Trax, put Johnson on third.
He scored on the ground out.

Valentin, following a Wright single and a fielders choice, gets tossed out at second as part of the hit and run that niether hit well enough nor ran fast enough.

That make sense?Im a lil hungover.

______thats a pun^

Mets are playin "half there".
A delayed steal makes the boys look "totally not there."

I saw that thing with Delgado where he didnt retouch the bag on his way back to 1st last night.
No excuse for shit like that.

Still, we got game at 1-1.

Castro on second as a result of an infield single, that was all over the infield.
Reyes follows with his second hit of the game, a single lashed to right.

dayyyyyyham.
Reyes is on a TEEEEEEEEEAR!.

He is now batting .298!
.298!

Wow. How hot is Reyes right now? I keep waiting for him to cool off, and in this case, I beg to differ with Mr. Petty . . .

Beltran, too.

Good times.

Pretty quick game so far, considering Trachsel is pitching.
Mets up 4-1 in the 4rth.

Thats Toronto turf looks like a badly worn patch quilt.
