Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2006 Posted June 3, 2006 Damn them and their strategy. Although some redemption for Cliff would be nice.
Guest Rotblatt Guests Posted June 3, 2006 Posted June 3, 2006 Milledge pinch running for LoDuca. Interesting.
Guest GYC Guests Posted June 3, 2006 Posted June 3, 2006 If the Mets don't win this game in this inning, I'm going to kill something or somebody.
Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted June 3, 2006 Posted June 3, 2006 Damn - a 23-year-old rookie pitcher whom we've never seen before.We're screwed.
Guest GYC Guests Posted June 3, 2006 Posted June 3, 2006 Sac fly by Woodward - Milledge is safe. Thank God.
Guest cooby Guests Posted June 3, 2006 Posted June 3, 2006 well it took almost 10 hours, but they got them in. No Sunday triple header
Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted June 3, 2006 Posted June 3, 2006 That turned out to be a good move by Willie to pinch run Milledge for LoDuca. The gamble worked - there's no way LoDoca could have scored on that shallow fly.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2006 Posted June 3, 2006 Willie is a genius...nice to hear Howie on the TV again.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2006 Author Posted June 3, 2006 Another walkoff win. Yawn.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2006 Posted June 4, 2006 I missed all the fun Didnt think they had a chance to get in both games.I dont mind a split here-lets take the series tomorrow!
stevejrogers Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2006 Posted June 4, 2006 I should be there for a Sunday in the Park!
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2006 Posted June 4, 2006 Milledge looked silly for the majority of his game-winning run home. He was staring into the outfield almost the entire way. He didn't need to do that. He could've done his slide around the catcher (which was excellent, I'll admit) by seeing the catcher's positioning. I'm sure that looking back over your shoulder is going to slow you down. If he had been tagged out I'd be ranting.
