Is Keith sick, he didn't sound so good during the game last night, it sounds Ed Coleman is doing the game with Gary.

Dont umps supposed to be able to see?

yeah but its a union job, you pass the eye exam once when you'e 25 and never lose your job.

pedro walks 2 in a row and then gives up a 3-run bomb, WALKS KILL

Nice sac bunt by Martinez puts 2 in scoring position with 2 out.......
but Reyes breaks his bat grounding out to end the inning.

The radio guys announce that the Mets have not "publicly thought" about Saturday's pitcher, although they concede that they have certainly thought about it in private.

Question: Isn't all thinking, by definition, private? Does this have something to do with elaborate avoidance of the "L" word? Wouldn't the statement convey the same thing if they'd said "The Mets say they haven't thought about Saturday's pitcher very much, but that's some kind of lie--they're obviously thinking about it a lot, but they're saying that they haven't"?
