nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 so much for lima-time, its 4-3 brewers on a bases clearing double.lima wasnt walking anyone in the minors but in 2 starts here he has gotten into trouble because of walks and falling behind in the count generally. i'd give him one more start and if he has control issues again i'd send him back down. i'm willing to be patient with a pitcher who can find the strike zone even if he isnt doing too well, i have NO patience for guys who "walk the ballpark" (see: Ishii, Kaz)
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 Things are turing to shit in a hurry.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 Willie may have ridden him a little too long trying to get him his five innings to qualify for a victoire.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 If Jose Lima gets another start, I'm going to kick Willie Randolph in the victoire.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 Why do you let this fricking moron (Jose Valentin) hit? Get him off the frigging roster NOW. NOW NOW NOW. Check him out of the hotel, set fire to his uniform, GET RID OF HIM.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 Thanks, Dave Bush. Go 3-1 on Valentin so you can throw two strikes and crush all our hopes and dreams.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 there is no way valentin should have batted with runners on, do we want to get back into this game or what?
smg58 Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 That inning couldn't end soon enough. You know, Bill Hall has never held a full time position because they don't like his defense, but he can't possibly be a worse second baseman than Weeks.Carlos Lee dives into the tarp, and every Brewers fan has a heart attack.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 wha happened?last i saw Lima was pitchin well.Damn--Fielder 2 homers.ouchouch
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 well, i read the thread and that coupled with Yahoo gamecenter play by play pretty much fills me in.I was hoping Lima would have a good outing.Looked good for 4 innings....Shame.I got a fork here-...who wants to stick it in him?
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 Can't wait for Bannister to get back.

metirish Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 Ok I am now starting to worry about Cliff Floyd.......does he miss Cameron more than I thought he would?.......Piza had 4 hits today and the Padres have won 12 of 13......holy shit.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 I enjoy seeing Kaz pull this guy. Just get it fair, man.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 Knocks it the other way off the handles, and he has an eight-game hitting streak.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 Great at bat for Matsui. Singles to left field.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 Reyes walks to start the 9th. RALLY TIME!
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 well, looks like all we need is the ol' 9th inning 6 run comeback.
