Hey Yance, might as well post the latest list of the "Unknown Mets" maybe some fresh eyes can help out

By the way, great suggestion, can you embed the instrumental Meet The Mets into the Mug shot page? Seems like every time I click on it that song enters my head, be nice if the rest of the Net had that experience every time looking at that huge page

Juan Padilla needs his shades.

Great stuff G, but the reason Yance doesn't just swipe every headshot image from MLB.com's Mets page and the "Official Headshots" is that he actually wants the images to be, well Metologically correct. With a Blue topped hat on.

There is an actual criteria list somewhere, I'd have to search for it on some old UMDB Request thread...

I think I'm going to start recording games where they play with blue hats just for the purpose of screen captures.

Uh Yance, I can't seem to find that post with your official criteria for head shots, so do you mind posting it. I think its more than just the All-Blue Cap

Yeah, I know blue hats are preferred, but I was under the impression that a mugshot with Mets uniform (even if it's those stupid black hats) is better than no mugshot at all.

]# The photo has to have the player in a Mets cap or helmet, without benefit of Photoshopping.
# Blue caps are preferred wherever possible.
# Color beats black and white. I try to avoid b&w shots for any players from 1970 or later. (I think the only exceptions have been Jack Aker and Larry Bowa.)
# Those studio mugshots where the player is in front of a blank wall are a last resort.

Happened to notice the blue-hatted absence for Wagner and Castro.

Also, a blue hat picture of Duaner, who unfortunately looks like Lewis Black experiencing a moment of pleasure.

Y'might be better off waiting Duaner out.

Added to here from the IGT to keep things organized.

Doesn't meet criteria well, sorry, but it's all I can find with Walker under a Met's cap.

Thanks Olerud. I grabbed that Billy Wagner. I had previously seen (and considered) the Castro one, but I try to avoid full profiles when I can.
