stevejrogers Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Last time we play the Braves untill July 28th.Plenty of Phillies coming up though, who are the current 2nd place team and after today will be the team to focus on!How great is it to say that, going forward into the summer the two top NL East squads do not include the Barfs!

Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Lima retires the side in the first, and everyone made it through alive.

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 its nice to have someone like Lima to go to at a time like this.(maybe not a game vs Atl, but a game where Mets pitching is in a bit of a fix)At least he's got some MLB experience.
stevejrogers Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2006 Author Posted May 7, 2006 Yes I might be doing that often today

Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Damn, someone put some caffine into Wright.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 ="GYC"]Nice to see the blue hats and white uniforms.agreed

Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Matsui actually makes a nice play getting to a ball...and then botches the exchange.

Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Dammit LoDuca, that's the wrong way to change the umps mind.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 OMG! LoDuca pulls a Cone!I think he was tossed!!
Guest Bret Sabermetric Guests Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 They're scoring that a hit? That explains Matsui's defensive stats.
Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 LoDuca ejected for freaking out after the bad call (he tagged him out).Cox ejected for arguing because Smoltz was sent back to 1st.Weird ass play.
Guest GYC Guests Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Fuck you, Angel Hernandez. Piece of shit. Worst fucking umpire in the game.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 seriously, why is this piece of shit still umping? there is no excuse for MLB not firing this guy years ago
Guest Bret Sabermetric Guests Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Hernandez threw LoDuca out of the game as soon as he spiked the ball--doesn't that mean the ball is dead from that second on? Can you continue to pick up a ball and make plays if you've been thrown out of the game? I don';t think so.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 that was wack!LoDuca spikes the ball!lolLosing LoDucas bat is bad, but we arent in bad shape....Castros no slouch.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Horseshit call, LoDuca tagged him twice.Never should have been an issue because of the blown balk call before the inning ending double play.

Guest GYC Guests Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Lo Duca should have thrown the ball at Hernandez's face. This inning should be over.
