Guest Yancy Street Gang Guests Posted May 6, 2006 Posted May 6, 2006 Fans are learning to like Beltran.I know it's corny, and maybe that's part of its charm, but they gotta bring that apple and hat to the new park.

Guest martin Guests Posted May 6, 2006 Posted May 6, 2006 sometimes in those goofy games they play between innings the winner gets a apple/hat clock. it looks awesome. i want to win one of those pretty bad.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2006 Posted May 6, 2006 Oliver rolling through the 4th...how much gas does he have?

It adds character to the thing, especially since just about every dent was caused by a home run. (Some may have been caused by ground rule doubles.)

MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2006 Posted May 6, 2006 Yahoo sorts is reporting that Zambrano left the game because of a right elbow injury. This is one game where the bullpen is stretched so thin that the team was depending on him to gut it out and eat some innings.I could say something here about him leaving the game with a "tummy ache" not being possible because he has never shown any guts. But I won't.Oh, wait. I just did.Later
Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted May 6, 2006 Posted May 6, 2006 Oliver strikes out the side, he has 6 on the game.Baseball is weird.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2006 Author Posted May 6, 2006 55 pitches for Oliver and he's scheduled to lead off. I think he hits, they get at least 1 more inning out of him.

Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted May 6, 2006 Posted May 6, 2006 Crap - Renteria scores the tying run on a single by Larry.Oliver gets a nice ovation as he leaves the mound.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2006 Posted May 6, 2006 Met killer strikes again.Larry with an RBI single ties the game in the 6th.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2006 Posted May 6, 2006 its 2-2 now.I'm not too concerned about the rotation, since i considered Victor and his 7 ERA to be crap anyway whoever replaces him shouldnt be a problem. I'd love to see Soler or Pelfrey soon.
Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted May 6, 2006 Posted May 6, 2006 Fortunado induces an inning-ending double play.
