metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 Yeah get online now, it'll be hard to top last nights game but any win will do, it will be interesting to see how Bannister is tonight...
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2006 Author Posted April 21, 2006 I was at his last start and he was pulling rabbits out of his hat for 5 innings, if he allows that many baserunners tonight he won't be so lucky again.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 I'll try and be around. LGM, YGB, bbb, yyy
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 Like us Keith is very interested to see what Bannister has tonight....
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 Should be a telling start for Bannister. No more cold weather excuses. If he throws strikes he should be fine.Wind blowing out to right...I'd like to see the offense keep their late inning surge from last night going.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 Doctors are looking at the MRI as we post. Gary says they should have an uodate during the game.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 On the pre-game Chris Cotter said Beltran was day to day, meaning they no squat till the doctors phone Gary and Keith in the booth.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2006 Author Posted April 21, 2006 LoDuca lets another baserunner steal 2nd.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 Bannister looking a bit wild early doors....
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2006 Author Posted April 21, 2006 bases loaded, Bannister should be in his element now.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2006 Author Posted April 21, 2006 Houdini back in action, he strikes Greene out to leave them loaded.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 OK Brian we get it, you like the pressure, that last pitch was a bueaty..
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 Bannister sure makes things exciting. I could use a laugher after last night. Hopefully, the offense can take some of the angst out of watching Bannister by scoring early and often..
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 Ok that out pitch on the replay shows Bannister got away with one right down the middle.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 Come on Kaz. Keep the rally going.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 Update from the Bronx: H. Matsui punched out with bags juiced andthe MFYs lose again.

Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 Chavez grounds into an inning ending double play. I hope Beltran can get back fairly soon.

Matsui punched out with bags juiced andthe MFYs lose again.Poor guys, Gay-Rod has been very hard on himself lately, taking the blame for the MFYs so so start, he's such a leader, time Torre sat Matsui for a game.

Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 That was a promising start to an inning that you could see wasn't likely to lead to much. Once Matsui flied out, it was up to Chavez and Bannister to drive in the the runs. I figured the odds were against that happening. I just wish we could have at least cleared the pitchers spot, but the GIDP killed that.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 Before Matsui whiffed w/ the bases loaded, Gayrod whiffed with 2 on. It's a beautiful world we live inA sweet romantic place
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 If only Captain Intangibles had also struck out with runners in scoring position, we might have had an alternate definition of Triple Happiness.
