Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted April 16, 2006 Posted April 16, 2006 That was a great play! Wow!Great idea for a thread. Highlights without having to watch sportscenter.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2006 Author Posted April 16, 2006 I've never seen a play quite like that, you should have seen his team mates reactions in the dugout.

metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2006 Author Posted April 16, 2006 Nice job GYC, love that play.
Guest GYC Guests Posted April 16, 2006 Posted April 16, 2006 And wow, that Taguchi throw was freaking insane.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 Taguchi's throw was amazing. It's the kind of play that when you first see him throw it, you're mind thinks "Oh shit!". Then when you see that it is actually a good throw and isn't into the stands or dugout, you jump up and proclaim it a great play. Dread to delight in an instant.

Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 Kind of had a lot more time than he thought he had though, didn't he?

Gino Cimoli tried to throw out a runner heading for third and the right fielder threw the ball into the upper deck behind third at Ebbets Field. We now return you to the original thread. But maybe there should be a thread for really bad plays.Later
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 I don't see a link to a Taguchi play on that page.
metsmarathon Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 Tad Iguchi, not So Taguchi.Very nice, impressive throw! woulda sucked if he'd clipped his army on the ground there...
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 Yeah, I kept thinking, "Isn't Taguchi an outfielder?" But it was late.
