before we make any changes bear in mind that we can't get a weekend date any later into march than that, i've already checked. so would a majority rather have it on a weeknight or are we a go for then?

I just checked, and every weekend date except for 3/26 has openings. April 1 has openings all day long.

you might have been checking under a winner's league or something, having just re-checked theres nothing later for us.

Strange. I just go to create a new free league, and every draft date is wide open.

strange indeed, i now seem able to set it back as far as the end of march...is this something we want? i prefer NOT to draft saturday april 1st since i have another draft (for real $$) that morning but do we want to push it back to march 24th (the last saturday in march) obviously this would allow everyone more information from ST and less likelihood of their early round picks getting hurt between the draft and the season.... unless anyone is against it (and posts soon) i'll make the switch.

yahoo will notify you the day before i believe, but i dont plan on changing it again, we'd have had this later date to begin with if yahoo had allowed it at the time i signed up.
