Is this the first Met 4-hit debut?

Hernandez seems to be bunting. Julio Franco on deck.

I agree. Got a little luck with the play at the plate, but he toughed it out. Good show.

And there's still an inning to go, but Willie so far has made all the right calls, if you ask me.

Sticking with Heilman after he gave up 3 hits isn't a no-brainer, and neither is leaving Glavine in there for a sixth inning.

And now fucking Nady starts off his Mets career with a 4-4 day!

Wowsers!

Bunts foul for strike 3.

Anderson, you're never going to bat second if you can't get the bunt down.

Franco grounds out sharply. Two down.

And Reyes grounds to second.

Let's see what Wagner can do!

Fasten your seatbelts, we're going into the ninth!

Just saw another replay. I think LoDuca had his palm on the ball and the ball in his glove.

Hey Nady's in the place, I'm callin' out to ya
There never was a city kid truer and bluer
There's more to him than you'll ever know
And He's got more hits than Sadaharu Oh

Tom Gordon, Tom Glavine, or Tom Candiotti
Puts the hit on a pitcher like his name is John Gotti
Hits are flowing out just like the Grand Canyon
And he's always out looking for a female companion

He threw the lasso around the tallest one and dragged her to the crib
He took off her moccasins and put on his bib
He's wheelin' and he's dealin', he makes a little bit of stealing
He'll bring you back to the place and your dress he's peeling

Your body's on time and your mind is appealing
Staring at the cracks up there upon the ceiling
Some such nonsense is what Xavier's throwing
Talking to a girl, telling her he's all-knowing

She's talking to Xavier Nady, the kid
He's telling here every lie that you know that I never did
Hey Nady! (Get Funky!)

And there was much rejoicing Yaaayy

Vidro trying to take 2nd is understandable, but that's an awful move sending Soriano
w/no one out. I don't care how fast he is (or whether the call was
correct) just the fact that it was even close means it's a dumb move.

P.S. Why does Wagner ALWAYS make me nervous?
