MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 I just had a Doug Sisk flashback.Be still, my heart.Later
Guest Yancy Street Gang Guests Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 Ground-rule double. Nady 4 for 4.
Guest Yancy Street Gang Guests Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 Hernandez seems to be bunting. Julio Franco on deck.
Guest Rotblatt Guests Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 I agree. Got a little luck with the play at the plate, but he toughed it out. Good show. And there's still an inning to go, but Willie so far has made all the right calls, if you ask me. Sticking with Heilman after he gave up 3 hits isn't a no-brainer, and neither is leaving Glavine in there for a sixth inning. And now fucking Nady starts off his Mets career with a 4-4 day! Wowsers!
Guest Rotblatt Guests Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 Anderson, you're never going to bat second if you can't get the bunt down.
Guest Yancy Street Gang Guests Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 Franco grounds out sharply. Two down.
Guest Yancy Street Gang Guests Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 And Reyes grounds to second. Let's see what Wagner can do!Fasten your seatbelts, we're going into the ninth!

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 And there was much rejoicing YaaayyVidro trying to take 2nd is understandable, but that's an awful move sending Soriano w/no one out. I don't care how fast he is (or whether the call was correct) just the fact that it was even close means it's a dumb move.P.S. Why does Wagner ALWAYS make me nervous?
