Hooray. No deal beats a bad deal. I think Omar showed he really is running the Mets differently than they've been run in the past. He's willing to think big, but he knows when and how to say no.

All is forgivin now. And honestly, I'm vaguely hopeful that we'll have a decent two months. Trachs & Matsui are coming back and Beltran is (maybe) starting to hit a little.

Now that no trade is happening, maybe we'll be willing to bring Valent back up and possibly start Anderson or Lambin if Matsui doesn't start playing well . .. .

More importantly, though, we have all our prospects. Thank God.
