Has a nice ring to it.
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 Glavine cruises through the fourth on a pop-up and two Ks. Beltran starts the fourth with a double. He's 2-2 tonight.
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 Mr. Wright drives in Beltran with a single to LC. 2-1 Metsies.
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 Glavine continues to cruise. Pettite rolling along as well. 2-1 Mets, end of 5.
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 A scoreless sixth ends with Floyd striking out. Still 2-1 Mets.Worst. IGT. Ever.
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 A pity post from cooby. I'm blushing.
Guest cooby Guests Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 I can't even watch the game, you are indispensable.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 Go, one-man IGT!We just got back from shoe shopping. Kids, don't get married. (Just kidding.)
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 amen to that, i don't need some b**** dragging me around shopping.nice defense by Reyes to save a run.I'm going to catch up on PoTG threads i've been under the weather and not reading lately.
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 Lane doubles and reaches third on some Beltran hilarity. Reyes saves the day with a a nice snag of a liner with the infield in, but Ausmus doubles down the line in right to tie it.Biggio pinch-hits and lines one off Glavine's foot out into short right. Ausmus scores, and Houston leads 3-2.
Guest holychicken Guests Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 People were booing matsui when that ball glanced off glavine's leg because, after starting off to his right, he had to go back to his left and didn't field it cleanly. . . the runner would have scored easily whether he got it or not. . . but the dumbass fans had to boo him anyway.
Guest cooby Guests Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 Now that he's in a trade rumor for Fonzie they probably smell blood
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 This team should probably consider scoring some more runs. Someone needs to wake up the bats (the 12-run outburst the other day notwithstanding)...
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 The Kazbooers are clearly fools. I didn't see last night's game at all, so I don't know how they treated him. Getting on three times probably wasn't enough for them.Qualls breezes through Wright, Woody and Castro. 3-2 Houstons, end of seven.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 ]Now that he's in a trade rumor for Fonzie they probably smell bloodI didn't hear that rumor, BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOwe want the fonz back!!!!!Fonzie is one of those guys like David Wright, Derek Bell, & Turk Wendell that Met fans just love too much to boo.
Guest cooby Guests Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 Booing Fonzie would be like booing a squirrel
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 Yes, but playing Fonzie every day at 2B would be nuts.Meanwhile, Kaz takes one on the foot and Cairo bunts him to second, Tying run on second, one out.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 did Matsui really get HBP? i couldn't tell.
Guest holychicken Guests Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 I have no problem booing Squirrels. Squirrels and chickens are sworn enemies because a squirrel spilled my beer one time.

Guest holychicken Guests Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 BTW, did they boo kaz for getting hit by a pitch?
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 It looks like it caught him on the bottom or side of the foot. It definitely changed direction.
Guest cooby Guests Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 lol, holychicken, you must tell us that story
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 Reyes goes 6-3. Kaz to third, 2 out, Cameron up.
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 Cameron with an infield single to tie it up.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 way to go cameron!holychicken i MUST hear this squirrel story!!
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 All this small ball against our old buddy Dan "18" Wheeler.
