The Hot Corner Old-Timey Member Posted May 22 Posted May 22 Kodai Senga is set to take the mound for Single-A affiliate St. Lucie tomorrow. The Mets could really use a Senga in the rotation, if he can get back to being able to give 5 good innings every 5-6 days. I just don't know what to expect with Senga. Throughout his career, Senga has either been wonderful or terrible, with little between to two extremes. Here is hoping he is healthy and we get "good" Senga back in the near future.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted May 22 Posted May 22 You figure 12 weeks until Holmes is back. If you can get 8 good Senga starts it would go a long way.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25 Posted May 25 I have Senga fatigue It's one thing for him to be back it's another for him to be effective
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted Tuesday at 08:26 PM Posted Tuesday at 08:26 PM Kodai Senga has been scratched from his next rehab start (tonight) due to "ulnar nerve irritation" in his upper right arm. Mendoza also mentioned that his velocity had been down in his most recent outing. And so it goes. https://nypost.com/2026/06/09/sports/kodai-senga-scratched-from-rehab-start-in-latest-mets-injury-mess/
Marshmallowmilkshake Old-Timey Member Posted Tuesday at 11:28 PM Posted Tuesday at 11:28 PM I don't think we'll ever see Senga or Robert in a game again. I think Jorge Polanco is done for the season.
