Does anyone else think that running guys up here  for a day if there’s bullpen fatigue is a dumb idea?

Making a long trip for a day or two….

it disrupts their rhythm and possibly messes up another roster as well. 

And I’m going on record here as saying the ads will bring this place down. 
they get in the way of scrolling, they have little click heres where we would usually click to respond to a a post and they are totally irrelevant to anything we want to see advertised on a sports forum

The ads can be pretty intrusive, but I suppose they're a necessary evil.

I've actually always wondered about that too. You're yeeting these guys from wherever the S-Mets are playing, squinching them into a seat on the first available JetBlue flight, and saying "hey, bail out Sean Manaea tonight when he walks six guys in the fourth inning." It feels like a lot.

But I suppose they *did* sign up for this dream, and if Stearns called me right now and was like "hey, you're pitching the sixth inning tonight," I'd be on my way to the airport in about 30 seconds.

If someone told me before the season that the Mets are going to crash and burn but your friend seawolf is pitching the sixth inning on April 30 maybe that’s worth it?

I just think it's counterproductive for the team.  The illusion that one more reliever, one more reliever, one more reliever is the difference maker is such a spectacular waste of energy.

Right, but what if that one more reliever is younger than Bartolo Colon, can routinely hit 40 mph (sidearm!) on the inflatable radar gun game at our AAA ballpark, and had a career 0.00 Little League ERA?
