What’s your thought re: potential changes to be made? -More plate appearances for…Torrens? Tyrone Taylor? -Call up Morabito, Clifford, or Ewing? -See if JD Martinez or some other guy on the scrap heap wants to play? -Wait it out because Lindor and Bichette are going to figure it out?
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Insurmountable Lead Alert: Dodgers have two, Mets runs in the three games don't yet add up to two.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Insurmountability has been acheived.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted April 16 Posted April 16 This broadcast is an overproduced histrionic laden mess The Mets are messy also Didn't the Mets just hire JD Martinez as an advisor or something

Not a clue in terms of moves. It’s not as if moving around the .500 OPS guys will make a difference. No one on the bench has earned more time and no one in Syracuse seems to be ready. If I were in charge I would be rethinking whatever organizational philosophy we are promoting. When everyone is struggling it suggests a problem with approach. also, I’d sit Semien in favor of almost anyone
The Hot Corner Old-Timey Member Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Well, I have seen enough. Goodnight all.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 16 Posted April 16 That's what we needed, an AB by a guy who has never been a Met before. btw, MJ Melendez is Mervyl Samuel Melendez ?!?
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Pham doesn’t look ready to be playing in major league games.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted April 16 Posted April 16 If I’m looking for positives, that was a nice hit by Melendez and a good AB by Lindor. maybe some “green shoots”
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 16 Posted April 16 'Hey Freddie, Luis Robert here. I just called to say I glove you'
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Possible Robert misses time after laying out, he was in some discomfort
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 16 Posted April 16 LIndor working an 11-pitch at-bat is the most hopeful thing yet. Use up whatever Ohtani's count may be. Of course, he went down on something seven inches off the plate, but UP 'TIL THEN ...!

Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Omg. What are you doing this fucking team.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 16 Posted April 16 A baserunning error probably isn't the best idea right now.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Ronnie and Joe Buck have forgotten that Ohtani has only about 10 starts as a Dodger. It’s still a good stat that this was his first leadoff walk but he hasn’t been a starting pitcher for 3 years or something
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 16 Posted April 16 MJ Melendez is leading the Mets Batter of the Month race after two trips to the plate.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Just now, Centerfield said: Wish we had a PH for Oham. We do. Vientos or Taylor.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 16 Posted April 16 I'm calling Pham "Oham" from now on. Young Mets radio voices get the facts right on the Jackie Robinson story, but kind of get the nuances wrong.
