So it was IGT all along. Crazy how one can gaslight oneself. Anyway, discuss.

Nolan McLean vs. Tatsuya Imai, by the way.

I look forward to seeing how McLean starts off his spring. The Mets really need him to be a strong top of the rotation guy this season.

It will also be interesting to see how the Astros new acquisition from Japan, Tatsuya Imai pitches. I like that he didn't wish to be just another cog in the Dodgers Title machine. He essentially said that he wants to help dethrone them. I like that attitude. So good luck to you sir, just not when facing the Mets.

Honestly impressed by McLean here. Brandon Sproat who?

And the well is far from dry. That Jack Wenninger fella ain't too shabby either.

This is not on TV here so I'm looking at Pete Alonso in Baltimore orange instead.

McLean through 3 scoreless with 4 Ks is a very promising start. His ceiling is so damn high, but I have no idea what to expect from him this year. I think I adopted him originally. Dad of the Year right here, folks.

I mean it's only fitting, considering the number he wears.

The Vinegar Bend Mizell line is strong.

Good outing from McLean (4 IP, 1 H, 1 BB, 6 Ks, & 0 Runs) to start his spring.

Hard to tell much about Imai as the Astros only let him pitch the 1st. He threw a total of 10 pitches in his outing.

So, McLean is already in beast mode.

A lot of positives to take away from this game, but that may be the positivest.

The Mets will probably see Imai again this spring, as they play the Astros frequently enough.
