Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2025 Posted August 26, 2025 Released today. Notable:-Opening day Thursday, March 26 at Citi Field against the Pirates.-All of the major travel comes early, with the last West Coast trip ending June 7. Mets only play 9 games in the central time zone after that date (one series each in Chicago, Milwaukee, and Texas).-Only two semi-repeaters (Miami in May, Philly in June).-Rare Friday off day on June 19 (Mets are in Philly; World Cup game that day at the football stadium across the street).-Playing at the other NY team on Friday, September 11.
cal sharpie Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2025 Posted August 26, 2025 Glad to see this. I have a goal of seeing all teams play a home game. I'm more than halfway there and will gain one this Labor Day, seeing the Mets play the Tigers.Next year, my guess is either the Guardians or the Brewers, timing-wise. We'll see.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2025 Posted August 26, 2025 2 trips to the West Coast in April, one in May, and one in June but (as stated above), that's it for late night games.
Marshmallowmilkshake Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2025 Posted August 26, 2025 Sweet! I love it when they play the White Sox in Chicago. I'll be there for sure! Thanks for sharing this!

DocTee Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2025 Posted August 26, 2025 In Atlanta for July 3 and Independence Day---maybe another rain-delayed, 18-inning marathon like 1985!
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2025 Author Posted August 26, 2025 A couple of additional notes upon further review:The Pirates (with presumed opening day starter Paul Skenes) are about as bad an “bad team” opening day opponent comes. There’s undoubtedly a lot of variables that factor in, and it might not be so feasible, but the STL/SF and a LA/CHC roadtrips seem like they’re crying out for a swap somewhere.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2025 Posted August 26, 2025 It's kind of refreshing that nobody has been offended by this thread. I was going to ask if permission to post this was granted ahead of time.May looks to be a tough month schedule-wise (for us and the players). - it starts out with nine PDT road games at LAA, COL, ARZ which, because the SoCal teams and Arizona usually play their Saturday games at night, likely gives us only two day games out of nine (the two Sundays) or maybe a third with the final Wednesday in COL- then, after a travel day to adjust, 16 straight days without an off day: DET (3 at Home), NYY (3-H), WAS (A-4), MIA (A-3), CIN (H-3)- then one day off, a three-game set vs MIA at CitiField, then right back out west for SEA - SDP
Elian Pena St. Lucie Mets - A SS In St. Lucie's Wednesday doubleheader, the 18-year-old shortstop went 3-for-7 with a walk and his 7th and 8th doubles. He's hitting .346/.460/.481 (.941). Also 8 steals in 9 attempts. Explore Elian Pena News >
