Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted Wednesday at 12:21 PM Posted Wednesday at 12:21 PM We have some solid Stock (Robert) going for us while the Marlins will be throwing Junk (Janson) out there. Junk is a righty [6 - 9, 4.00 / 1.28] whom we faced at CitiField back on 7/31 where he held us to 1 unearned run on 3 hits over 5 innings. Final score was Marlins 5 - Mets 2 in what was Senga's last start. It dropped him to an 0 - 8 record and puffed his ERA up to 8.66. Fortunately his ERA is 2.03 since. 6:40 start.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted Wednesday at 03:34 PM Author Posted Wednesday at 03:34 PM Good news: yesterday's starter was handed a 7 - 0 lead and went five perfect Bad news: 'high leverage' relievers were needed to cover four full innings and throw a combined 63 pitches
Cowtipper Old-Timey Member Posted Wednesday at 04:08 PM Posted Wednesday at 04:08 PM I just noticed the Mets are finally out of last place in the division. When did that happen? They only have to go 14-3 the rest of the way to be a .500 team. Crazier things have happened! Their Elimination Number is 6. That's plenty of buffer.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted Wednesday at 08:38 PM Posted Wednesday at 08:38 PM Soto just can't be stopped from all his leftfieldin'.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted Wednesday at 11:37 PM Posted Wednesday at 11:37 PM Da fuck is going on? And eight-run lead and no posts! Great to see Morel enter the homerun column. Sux to see Baty hurt when he's playing his best ball. whippoorwill 1
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted Thursday at 12:25 AM Posted Thursday at 12:25 AM I hope you're all alright and a zombie apocalypse hasn't gotten everybody. Morel has hustle.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted Thursday at 12:37 AM Author Posted Thursday at 12:37 AM Big lead early ... now cut in half. Kind of been a theme in this series.
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted Thursday at 12:39 AM Posted Thursday at 12:39 AM Stock will have to wait a while for his next MLB win. later
Cowtipper Old-Timey Member Posted Thursday at 12:39 AM Posted Thursday at 12:39 AM Robert Stock. Why did they settle on Stock of all people to fill the rotation at this point in the season?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted Thursday at 12:40 AM Posted Thursday at 12:40 AM Now you're all showing up.
Cowtipper Old-Timey Member Posted Thursday at 12:41 AM Posted Thursday at 12:41 AM Well, whatever little big of magic Devenski discovered with the Mets last year seems to have been lost this year.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted Thursday at 12:42 AM Posted Thursday at 12:42 AM Conine up and it's a situation.
Cowtipper Old-Timey Member Posted Thursday at 12:47 AM Posted Thursday at 12:47 AM I think Devenski might've just lost his spot on the team.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted Thursday at 12:47 AM Posted Thursday at 12:47 AM Duarte in and it's a plight.
Cowtipper Old-Timey Member Posted Thursday at 12:49 AM Posted Thursday at 12:49 AM Are they really gonna blow an eight run lead
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted Thursday at 12:49 AM Posted Thursday at 12:49 AM That non-challenge decision has been a killer.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted Thursday at 12:54 AM Posted Thursday at 12:54 AM Co9 held up at second and Soto still didn't get to the ball in time to even make a throw.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted Thursday at 01:03 AM Posted Thursday at 01:03 AM A counterpunch would be really satisfying here. Bunting when you don't know how to bunt is unsatisfying.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted Thursday at 01:07 AM Posted Thursday at 01:07 AM Damn. Ewing just missed that.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted Thursday at 01:11 AM Posted Thursday at 01:11 AM Thanks for pulling that infield in, Clayton McCullough.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted Thursday at 01:11 AM Posted Thursday at 01:11 AM Nice! We benefit from misplaced infielders!
