ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Got to love the Soto We especially need him for the Mets to win out

It'll probably wait until they're in Tmp/St Pete. Lindor lives in Florida so he can just go straight home from there and then greet everyone else as they arrive next February.
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Your sarcasm is extremely warranted. Those guys haven't exactly been a dynamic duo as often as we'd hoped. Later

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Bennett Sousa is the Astros 'opener' today. So on days when he is in the pen and the manager wants him to get warmed up does he use the ... wait for it ... Sousaphone?

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago That BUILD, BABY, BUILD! sign behind home plate is referencing one of the president's campaign slogans, and therefore I reject The Haugland Group and their products and services.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago I also reject Baty getting owned by the high heat.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Re-injured Soto is good stuff! Get your act together, Mets. You are the better team here.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Back to back hits by Lindor and Soto ... for at least the third time this year.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Jared Young just pulled within one of the team-lead in triples. He is also pulling away in the team lead in the Where would we be without this guy? race.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago I think at worst he's half of a 1B/DH platoon plus a defensive replacement (depending on who the other half is) and a dangerous late bat off the bench.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago No way that's interference in my book. oe: and it's not Yeah, Gary, he went past the base, but not until after the throw was away. Let's not get too picky about that sort of thing.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago 2027 is a long way away. He plays third, too. But this game first.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago And hey, hey, hey! One out away! We got us a ballhawk.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Only guy who touched a batted ball in that last inning was Ewing.
cal sharpie Old-Timey Member Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I was at today’s game. It was my third game this year and I went 3-0 (all Maclean starts). I also went 3-0 last year and the year before plus the last game I went to in 2023. I have, therefore, a 10 game winning streak. Edgy MD and Centerfield 2

The organization loves your productivity, cal, but your availability the last two seasons has been real issue. Also, it's been a stinky time for the Nats to be on a modest win streak. Can one of you who's not as hot as cal take in a game or two in Washington?
