Casey Mize of the Tigers just got scratched from his start today. He is thought to be going somewhere.

This could happen to Peralta I guess

Super-rested Kodai Senga on high alert.

Hey, maybe Peralta gets the start tonight, but for the Marlins.

Would be the funniest thing if Senga rediscovered himself for the last two months.

Six pitches to the last five batters.

The classic double edged sword:

-Senga is the most talented pitcher on the roster.  Pitched at a Cy Young-winner level for a season and a half.  Outside of Skubal, there’s no pitcher like that available in free agency or via trade.

-All the rest of Senga’s time says he can’t be trusted to be a rotation pillar.  If he’s great for the final 2 months, do the Mets forget that problem and fail to get the 3 good starting pitchers they need to be competitive.

Give the ball to the last guy in the pen, and the ball ends up getting hit to the other guys in the pen.

You guys are missing a game.

Would you post more in this thread if I included some naked cowboy catchers?

Xzarion gonna throw 100 pitches out there as they keep most everybody else under wraps for trades.

And "Pete Fairbanks" shouldn't be the name of your closer.  That should be your PA announcer's name.

No, they trade him. And part of the return should be a giant bottle of antacid for all the agita he’s given the fans. He’s like nitro. We never know when he’ll go off. Not if. When.
