I trust him coming and going making those challenges as a catcher, but as a hitter he seems to be coming from a completely different place.

No, Polanco has shown some wheels since his has been back.

Alvarez, Vientos, Soto, Wagaman, and (disappointingly) Bichette and Mauricio have all been slower than him when gunning it this year.
