Yeah, Keith (unless I misunderstood) thought it was a good pitch, but it looked right in Jones' wheelhouse to me.



Interesting that they pulled a very hot McNeil so early for pinch-running and defense from Acuña, but it paid off initially.

I was at today's game with several Met fans in the row behind me. Staying at a hotel a short walk from the ballpark and seeing lots of Met gear. Fun time but worrisome at so many points.

That was fun! It's rare that I get to see the Mets in person, and even rarer that I get to see them win!



Lots of Mets fans at the game. Maybe more than any other opposition team I've seen there.

I listened to the first few innings as I drove home from Geneseo after returning my daughter to college. Soto's grand slam happened just as I pulled into my garage, which was fortuitous timing.



I also caught innings 8-9 after my nap ended. Good win for the good guys.
