Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 27, 2025 Author Posted July 27, 2025 Going to the lefty to face Smith. Dom still gets respect!

Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2025 Posted July 27, 2025 Seems unnecessary to bring in Raley to face Wilmer rather than leave Garret to face Smith.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2025 Posted July 27, 2025 And now the lefty has to face Bailey. Such a dumb move.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2025 Posted July 27, 2025 Line drive to Taylor. We get through it. But some questionable decision making.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2025 Posted July 27, 2025 Acuna running for Mauricio?!?Not that he's not (probably) faster, but I'd think you'd save that card for someone else.

It's not as if anyone at the top of the order is getting pulled for a runner, and if the inning continues long enough to get to Baty or Alvarez, the Mets would have had scored a bunch already. Acuna was likely to come in for defense anyway in the bottom of the 9th.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 27, 2025 Author Posted July 27, 2025 Juan Soto is the ThriveWell Infusion Player of the Game?Did you forget Mauricio so soon? It was the best game of his career!
