After two days of beating the Giants' better starting pitchers, the Mets have perhaps their top guy on the mound against what is expected to be a panoply of Giants arms. While that is an advantage, it naturally guarantees nothing. In fact, the scheduled starter/opener, Matt Gage has yet to give up a run in 9 2/3 innings this season with the Giants and Tigers.



Many will rise, many will fall. Most will shudder. But in the end, one will stand.

Not a single ball out of the infield though at least one of the GPs scored a run (tho another led to an out at home so maybe those cancel each other out).
