Chad ochoseis Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2025 Posted July 14, 2025 Carlos Gomez was the high ceiling guy we gave up to get Johan.

Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2025 Author Posted July 14, 2025 We shipped a one-time hot pitching prospect to a West Coast team for a relief pitcher during Spring training. That relief pitcher was remembered for something more than his pitching. The guy we traded had brief appearances with the team we traded him to, and the Cubs.

Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2025 Author Posted July 14, 2025 No in the Wite Sox trade we gave up a catcher and got a pitcher. The pitcher's name was more remarkable than his pitching was.

I remember Cameron/Nady and Heath Bell/Royce Ring for Ben Johnson/Jon Adkins (I was sure both of those guys would be better than they were)…but no recollection at all of a 2015 trade.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2025 Author Posted July 14, 2025 Good work everyone The Rockies trade was Collin McHugh for Eric Young Jr. McHugh was DFAed when we made that trade, I don't think anyone would have pegged him as having an 11year MLB career including key positions on a World Series winner.Young was one of those guys who wound up with more playing time that anyone thought was ideal. I believe he won the stolen base title that year. The San Diego trade was Cory Mazzoni for Alex Torres and giant hat. Thanks for playing Name That Trade
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 14, 2025 Posted July 14, 2025 I am embarrassed for forgetting the trade that sent Buzzy west. In my mind, she and he went straight to Houston.
