Marshmallowmilkshake Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2025 Posted July 6, 2025 (edited) We're gonna need some of those extra runs from yesterday. Edited July 6, 2025 by Guest
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2025 Posted July 6, 2025 Not likely to make a difference. But if you have a guy that gives up a run and rockets all over the field, why do you push him for a second inning?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 6, 2025 Posted July 6, 2025 So, pitching to Judge, when you have a choice not to, is not the way to go.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2025 Posted July 6, 2025 Fucking predictable. Some bad judgement by Mendoza here.
Cowtipper Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2025 Posted July 6, 2025 Stearns signs all these junk pitchers thinking they'll all be diamonds in the rough but it doesn't work that way. They're always good for 5-10 games then they fall apart. That's why they're junk pitchers and not established major leaguers.

He should only sign bonafide aces off the waiver wires whenever the team needs emergency help.
Cowtipper Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2025 Posted July 6, 2025 The Mets spent $92 billion per year for that Soto strikeout.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 6, 2025 Posted July 6, 2025 Surprising that has only been five innings.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2025 Posted July 6, 2025 Getting a shutdown inning here would be huge.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2025 Posted July 6, 2025 Good work from The Waddler
Cowtipper Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2025 Posted July 6, 2025 Now that the Mets have been freed from Max, let's see what they can do.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 6, 2025 Posted July 6, 2025 Pinch-hit Baty for Vientos against Loisaga?
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2025 Author Posted July 6, 2025 (edited) Mauricio vs LoaisigaTwo guys with eight letter names, five of which are vowels. 1st time ever in MLB history?Probably not, and definitely too trivial to even care about.I have no idea why I even noticed this, but I thought I'd share/inflict it with/on youse guys.
