Yanx will throw ex-NYM Marcus Stroman who will be throwing his fifth start of the season and only his second since early April. I think he was out with strained neck tattoos.

Mets will be throwing whoever they pick up off the streets on their way to the park. Also, almost certainly no Stanek or Diaz today as both are coming off back-to-back outings.

Stroman can be distracted and get off his game. If someone makes an error behind him, or he doesn't get a call from the umpire, he can lose focus and give up meatballs. We saw this many times when he was with the Mets.

Would be a great day for a Vientos breakout. I feel like his falloff, more than any of the others, has killed this offense.

The best 4th of July game I ever attended was when Dave Righetti no-hit the SAWKS at YS1. They made a big hoopla that it was George Steinbrenner's birthday, with a guy parachuting into the stadium and a trained Eagle flying around.

Let's make this one even better.



Yahoo Sports is saying that Justin Hagenman will be bringing his 1.50 ERA to the mound for the good guys.
